Italy

Image result for coliseoThe Roman Colosseum
The Colosseum is one of the landmarks most people can easily link to Italy. The huge oval amphitheatre stands in the city centre of Rome and construction was started in 70 AD. Built in Roman design borrowed from the Greeks, the amphitheatre was built in the place of a dried out lake. The colosseum was the place in those days where the Romans held their popular fights and games. There were gladiator games, animal hunts and mock sea battles in the colosseum. About 50,000 people could be seated on the steps of this ancient amphitheatre.

Venice
Thousands of tourists come to Venice every year to see the houses built on wooden piles along the many canals and waterways of the city. There are about 500 wooden gondolas and many more water taxis ferrying people across the city. St Mark's Square with the famous St Mark's Cathedral (basilica San Marco) and the campanile (bell tower) are major attractions. The city's palaces and houses can be reached by boat or foot, there are no cars driving in this city! Three bridges cross the over 4km/2.5 miles long Grand Canal. The Rialto Bridge is the most famous and also the oldest. By the way, the Canal Grande is only about 5 meters/17ft deep.

WILL SMITH

Willard Carroll Smith Jr. (born September 25, 1968) is an American actor and rapper. His mum is a school board administrator, and his dad is an U.S. Air Force veteran and refrigeration engineer.
He is married to actress and musician Jada Pinkett Smith and the father of three children: Willard III, 13 (from his first marriage); Jaden, 8; and Willow, 6. To keep fit, he runs (perhaps the perfect pastime for a man who can never seem to slow down). His first son, Trey, appeared in his father's music video for the 1998 single "Just the Two of us" and has also acted in some TV series. In April 2007, Newsweek called him "the most powerful actor in Hollywood". He has got four Grammy Awars and appeared on the NBC television in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
About his work he says “I don’t want to get bored, I want to face new challenges. That’s important for me, it keeps my engine running.” He prepares his new films during a week or so, at home with his family trying to be as the character of the film. He says “They understand what I am doing and don’t call me crazy. This usually works”
When he talks about fame and the effect it has on people’s lives he believes that it depends on the kind of person you are. In fact, he compares it to altitude “. If you go up a mountain there is less oxygen. Some people can acclimate and breathe and move up gradually. Others can’t handle it”. In addition, he says “there’s a lot of pressure on his job”.

According to him, the most difficult work he has done is a film called “Conclussion” which sport drama film where he tries to destroy American football. He says “I was profoundly conflicted. I love football”

“I wake up every morning believing today is going to be better than yesterday.” – Will Smith
