Camping in
the Dales is a great way to explore this beautiful part of Yorkshire. In Dales,

THINGS TO DO
Near the camping
Bolton Abbey. Explore the ruins of the Priory Church that was built in the 11th
century and discover a landscape full of history and legend. Walk along the
riverside and enjoy local food in the excellent restaurants, tea rooms and
cafes.
There are picnic
parties with people from different parts of the world that prepare their traditional
food! If you want to practice any language this is the perfect opportunity! (Weekends)
Go to York!
Visit Castle Howard. It was
built from 1699-1712 for one of the wealthiest families of England. The Castle
was partially destroyed by a fire in 1940. Nowadays it is one of York’s
touristic attractions. Some TV serials and films, such as Garfield (2006), have
used this enormous Castle as filming location. (Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m
to 8 p.m)
Go sailing. River Ouse (208 km) gives you the opportunity to observe wildlife and nature. You will love this experience, come and try. (Mornings and evenings)
National Railway Museum. Discover 300 years of history and 1,000,000 objects that changed the world
in the UK's largest railway museum. (Opened from Monday-Sunday. Only evenings).
