Located in the Northumberland National, our Bellingham Club campsite will be perfect to campers looking for relaxing breaks as well as those adventurous ones.
This is a well maintained campsite with modern facilities, including a children’s play area and a games room. The campsite offers accommodation in one of its four camping pods.
ACTIVITIES. There are numerous walking and cycling opportunities from the site.
You can walk to Bellingham village (20 mins) and visit the Spark Museum of Electrical Invention. This offers an exciting and educational experience for audiences of all ages. It has a collection of unique objects including the giant "MegaZapper" . The Spark Museum shows the inventions and innovations that changed human history. (Saturday and Sunday- from 10 a.m to 9 p.m)
If you love nature, you should go to the magical Hareshaw Linn waterfalls, located in Northumberland National Park. Don’t miss that beautiful landscape. (Opened from Monday to Sunday-mornings and evenings)
It is also a good idea to spend the day in Kielder Water and Forest Park, Europe’s biggest man-made lake, which is 25 minutes driving from the campsite. There you can go cycling and practice watersports, like canoeing, sailing and water skiing. Play the video! You are going to like it for sure! (Opened all the weekend, except nights)
Sign language workshop
for children and adults. Signing Time Academy is going to teach you some basic
vocabulary related to campsite, landscapes and adventure activities. The academy also
gives you the opportunity to put into practice what you have learnt. It
proposes a survival game in which you can only use sign language to communicate
with others.
In addition, the whole area has low light pollution and offers clear night skies. A visit to the Kielder Observatory takes you closer to the stars. (Opened at nights)
